Our Commitment

Neemias is committed to a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free community for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity, experience level, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to:

  • Be respectful and constructive in communication.
  • Assume good intent while giving direct, actionable feedback.
  • Focus on ideas and implementation details, not personal attacks.
  • Welcome newcomers and help others learn the project constraints.
  • Keep discussions aligned with project goals and requirements.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory language.
  • Personal insults, trolling, or repeated hostile criticism.
  • Publishing private information without permission.
  • Sustained disruption of discussions or review workflows.
  • Any conduct that a reasonable person would consider abusive.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • Repository issues, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Project discussions and documentation comments
  • Any public project spaces where you represent Neemias

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:

  • Report it privately to repository maintainers.
  • Include context, links, and timestamps when possible.

Security issues should be reported through security-policy.md, not public threads.

Enforcement

Maintainers may take any action they deem appropriate, including:

  • Requesting behavior changes
  • Removing content
  • Temporarily or permanently restricting participation

Enforcement decisions are made to protect the project and its contributors.
